Augusta Home Organizing Services

Welcome to Augusta Home Organizing Services (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website (https://www.augustahomeorganizingservices.com) (“Site”) and your relationship with us in connection with our home and business organizing, decluttering, packing, unpacking, staging, consulting, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By visiting or using the Site or engaging our Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

You represent that you are at least 18 years old and capable of entering into binding contracts. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Site or engage our Services.

2. Services and Pricing

  • We offer a range of organizing, decluttering, packing/unpacking, home staging, and related services.

  • Pricing, scheduling, and service descriptions are provided on our Site under “Pricing & Scheduling.”

  • All quotes are estimates unless explicitly stated otherwise.

  • You agree to pay fees, deposits, or retainers as may be required. Failure to pay may result in cancellation or suspension of Services.

3. Booking, Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • Appointments are scheduled in advance.

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least [X] days/hours in advance (you may choose a policy, e.g. 24 or 48 hours).

  • Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a cancellation fee (e.g. percentage of quoted price).

  • We reserve the right to decline or refuse service to anyone at our discretion.

4. Client Obligations

  • You agree to provide access, clear workspaces (to extent possible), electricity, and any necessary permissions or clearances required for our staff to perform the Services.

  • You must disclose to us in advance any known hazards, pets, or special circumstances in your home or business.

  • You agree to maintain insurance on your property, and acknowledge we are not responsible for loss or damage except to the extent caused by our negligence.

5. Materials, Donations, Disposals

  • If disposing of items, we may assist in coordinating with charities or waste removal services; disposal costs may be billed (e.g. dump fees, hauling, donation pickup).

  • You retain ultimate control over items; we will not discard irreplaceable items without your express permission.

6. Warranty, Limitation of Liability & Indemnification

  • We strive to perform Services with professionalism and care. However, we do not warrant that the Services will be flawless or error-free.

  • To the fullest extent allowed by law, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific Service.

  • Under no circumstances will we be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages (e.g. lost time, emotional distress).

  • You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, or costs (including attorney fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or your negligence or misconduct.

7. Intellectual Property

  • The content, design, logos, images, and materials on the Site are our property or licensed to us. You may view, download, or print copies for your personal use, but you may not otherwise reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our permission.

8. Privacy & Data

  • Our Privacy Policy (link or section) describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Site or Services, you consent to that policy.

9. SMS / Text Message Terms & Disclosures

If you opt in to receive SMS messages from us (for appointment reminders, promotions, updates, etc.), the following also applies:

9.1 Consent

By providing your telephone number and opting in, you explicitly consent to receive SMS/text messages from Augusta Home Organizing Services, including reminders, confirmations, marketing messages, and other communications related to our Services.

9.2 Message Frequency & Content

  • The frequency of messages may vary.

  • Message content may include appointment reminders, promotional offers, service updates, cancellation/rescheduling notices, and other business-related communications.

9.3 Costs & Carrier Charges

  • Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and your mobile plan. You are solely responsible for any message or data fees assessed by your carrier.

  • We are not liable for any such fees or charges.

9.4 Opt-out Availability

  • You can STOP receiving SMS messages at any time by replying “STOP” to any message.

  • After sending “STOP,” we will send a one-time confirmation message. After that, you will no longer receive SMS messages, unless you opt in again.

9.5 Support & Assistance

  • If you have any questions or issues regarding SMS messages, reply “HELP” or contact the support channels above.

  • We reserve the right to cease sending SMS messages to any number at our discretion.

9.6 Compliance with Law

  • We intend to comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (“TCPA”) and any applicable state or federal laws regarding SMS/text communications.

  • We will not sell, rent, or share your phone number solely for SMS purposes to third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

10. Third-Party Links & Services

  • The Site may link to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

  • Use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and policies.

11. Modification of Terms

We may revise or modify these Terms at any time. If we do so, we will post the updated Terms on the Site with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Site or Services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or your ability to receive Services for violations of these Terms or at our discretion.

  • Sections that by their nature survive termination (e.g. indemnification, limitation of liability, intellectual property) remain in effect.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Georgia (or the state in which the business is located), without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

  • Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or Services shall be resolved via binding arbitration or in the courts of the appropriate venue in [County], Georgia (or the relevant jurisdiction).

  • You waive your right to a jury trial to the extent permitted by law.

14. Miscellaneous

  • If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of the Terms will remain in effect.

  • No waiver of any right or breach shall constitute a waiver of any other right or future breach.

  • These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site and Services, superseding all prior proposals or communications.
